Why shingles fail

Install new shingles
New shingles are aligned, fastened and integrated with the existing courses as cleanly as possible.
Hand-seal disturbed tabs
Shingles touched during the repair are sealed back down to restore wind resistance.
Document the repair
Photos show the failed area, the repair work and any surrounding concerns that should be monitored.
Repair or replacement?
